His research focuses on health and well-being, with an emphasis on social networks and romantic relationships.Aubrey L. Jackson is assistant professor of sociology at the University of New Mexico. Her scholarship centers on how economic, political, and social contexts influence individuals’ well-being, especially among women and girls.Jonathan Dirlam is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Ohio State University. His research interests include criminology, health, and quantitative methodology. He is currently completing his dissertation, which assesses how the determinants of police killings have changed over time.
