Abstract

The principle of adversarial law is one of the fundamental functional principles of civil procedural law that creates favorable conditions for clarifying all the circumstances that are significant for the case and for the court to make a reasoned decision. Analysis of the organization and functioning of modern civil proceedings on the basis of adversarialism and equality of the parties is of great importance for resolving the issue of directions for the development of this principle at all stages of the civil process. Taking into account the importance of the adversarial principle, the author reveals the features of the content and implementation of the adversarial principle in the civil process of the Republic of Moldova and foreign countries.
