Abstract

The Maghreb countries were and remain a vital space for the states of the Euro-Mediterranean space, thanks to the millennial interconnection of the respective societies, including in the light of the democratization processes of the region in question. However, the truth is that Europe has had and continues to have a major influence on the democratization process of North Africa, including through the implementation of various processes of reconciliation of societies that have passed through authoritarian regimes, offering certain programs and projects to strengthen the confidence of citizens in state institutions.
