Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and some factors affecting the engagement of medical staff. Data was collected from 258 medical staff working at Nhan Ai Hospital. Overall engagement rate results in 78.7%. Engagement in terms of Loyalty 82.6%; Effort 86.4%; Pride in loving the organization 86.4%. The analysis results show that there are 5 factors positively correlated with engagement: Welfare policy, Hospital culture, Working environment, Training & development opportunities, Income. The qualitative analysis shows: The factors that need to be improved are those belonging to the direct leadership (fairness, trust, information processing), the income factor. Factors to maintain: Hospital culture, Welfare policy, and working environment, Training & development. From the research results, some recommendations are made to help hospital leaders improve resource management to improve employee engagement with the hospital.
