Abstract
The article considers the stages of development of a competitive strategy of a food industry enterprise. The types of competitive strategies of the enterprise, approaches to the formation of strategies are characterized: according to the possibility of applying the strategy - typical and original; by management level - corporate, business, functional and operational strategies; according to the stage of development of the enterprise - growth, stabilization and reduction; according to the type of functioning - commutants, patients, violent, expletives and letalents. It was found that the formation of the concept of competitive strategies for food industry enterprises should be aimed at increasing the efficiency of their functioning, which means the expansion of domestic markets. The key elements of the competitive strategy are considered, such as: responsible attitude to product quality; breadth of product range; promotion and marketing; price strategy of a food industry enterprise. The concept of forming a competitive strategy of a food industry enterprise is proposed on the basis of defining the principles of implementing the concept, factors influencing its formation, establishing the goal and the expected result. An algorithm for determining the competitive strategy of a food industry enterprise is proposed, which consists of the following stages: analysis of methodological tools for evaluating the competitive positions of a food industry enterprise; characteristic of the structural distribution and determination of the territorial presence of products of the food industry enterprise; establishment of problems of enterprise functioning in individual regional markets; establishment of competitive positions of the food industry enterprise; characteristics of the competitive status of the food industry enterprise; establishing a direction for the development of the company's competitive advantages; conducting additional studies to determine the reasons for insufficient presence of the food industry enterprise; formation of a mechanism for ensuring the competitive positions of food industry enterprises; determination of strategic guidelines and recommendation of competitive strategies for enterprise development. The methodological apparatus used at individual stages of determining the company's competitive strategy is characterized.
