Abstract
A microcomputer system for flow injection potentiometric stripping analysis is presented permitting fast digital recording of potential time-curves. A large-volume wall-jet cell simple in design has been used as detector cell. Investigations about the influence of electrode pretreatment and solution delivery mode (i.e. gravity flow, pumping) reveal the strong influence of these parameters on the magnitude and precision of stripping times. The optimized system was applied to the simultaneous determination of cadmium and lead in geological samples.
