Abstract
A data analytic approach to discrimination will be presented in which computer graphics is used as an aid in examining the data for possible initial misclassifications and unequal covariance strutures. This is achieved by noting the data (also summarized by ellipses if desired) projected on various planes defined by the centroids of selected triplets of groups. Weighted discriminations are compared for discrimination computed under both linear and non-linear assumptions.
