Abstract

Objective To study the computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound (US) findings of bladder pheochromocytoma.Method The CT and US findings of 10 patients pathologically proved as bladder pheochromocytoma were retrospectively analyzed.Results Bladder pheochromocytoma with broad-based attached to the bladder wall with clear margin,round or oval mass.Plain CT scan showed soft tissue density in homogeneous,all lesion intense enhancing in contrast-enhancement.US showed that the lesions was isoechoic or hypoechoic,with a regular shape,the internal echo of mass was nonhomogeneous.Conclusion CT and US findings of bladder pheochromocytoma have some characteristics,which is helpful for diagnosis.
