Abstract

This article is devoted to the evaluation of the comparison of two subjects on the effectiveness of the management of public authorities. For comparison, the author took the subjects of the Far East of the Russian Federation, namely the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Kamchatka Territory. The main criteria for evaluating the comparison of the effectiveness of the management of state power are the implementation of state and municipal tasks and programs, the assessment of the implementation of state power by civil society, socio–economic indicators of subjects, the preservation of professional managerial personnel, the assessment of the actions of state power of these subjects by independent organizations. The study provided information on the activities of state authorities represented by the heads of subjects, the implementation of national projects and individual directions for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Kamchatka Territory.
