Abstract
The relevance of the topic is connected with the involvement of population in solving the problems of the municipality on the basis of participation of the local governments in the implementation of national and relevant regional projects to improve the quality of life of population of the municipality. The article presents an analysis of participation in the implementation of regional projects of the local self-government bodies of urban districts and municipal districts of the Khabarovsk territory. The main organizational and legal forms of their participation are described, priorities of participation in the implementation of national projects are determined. Analysis of the activity of local governments and population of the studied municipalities in the implementation of regional projects was carried out. According to the results of the study, conclusions were made about the insufficient level of inclusion of local authorities in the implementation of national projects, since in some cases it is not about the participation of local authorities in the implementation of regional projects, but about the implementation of regional projects in the territory of the municipality.
