Abstract

Objective To study the clinical value of transvaginal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of endometrial lesions.Methods The clinical data of 120 patients with endometrial lesions diagnosed by pathology,including endometrial hyperplasia 58 cases,endometrial polyps 29 cases,submucosal myoma of uterus 25 cases and endometrial carcinoma 8 cases were retrospectively analyzed.The results of preoperative abdominal ultrasonography and transvaginal ultrasonography were compared with the pathological results respectively,the diagnostic accuracy was calculated and compared.Results The diagnostic accuracy of endometrial hyperplasia,endometrial polyps,submucosal myoma of uterus and endometrial carcinoma examined by transvaginal ultrasonography were 96.6%,100.0%,80.0%,75.0% respectively,the total accuracy rate was 92.5% ;Those of abdominal ultrasonography examination were 92.5%,82.8%,60.0%,25.0% respectively,the total accuracy rate was 74.2% ;The total diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal ultrasonography was obviously higher than that of abdominal ultrasonography,the difference was statistically significant(x2 =3.920,P < 0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal ultrasonography has high value in the diagnosis of endometrial lesions.
