Abstract

A Wideband inductorless CMOS LNA with a current reuse topology is presented. It uses a common source current reuse amplifier with an active current feedback. Inductor less topology is achieved by a gyrator. The gyrator circuit consist of two transconductance amplifiers a common source current reuse amplifier and a source follower. This paper proposes a LNA which can be integrated with the mixed signal processing unit. The work aims to design and simulate a generic, inductor less, wideband LNA using gyrator C effect, in lower nanometric scale of 180 nm or 90nm and compare the performance of two. Studies will be made on bandwidth and noise performances of the amplifier for shedding light into the promising applications await the circuit.
