Abstract

The effectiveness of enriching the vocabulary of students of a national audience depends on the characteristics of existing sources, the specifics of their use, and the focus of vocabulary work. In the process of working on the text, students' vocabulary is replenished with epithets, comparisons, metaphors, and phraseological units. Phraseological units refer to more complex units. Like words, phraseological units perform various functions in the communication process. Economically and effectively familiarize students with the meaning of phraseological units through the use of synonyms, lexical equivalents and free phrases.
