Abstract

3D printing is a process of printing products, prototyping by arranging many thin layered powder metal or metals in succession. This is the method that fabricates a 3D replica of a complete result. 3D printers permit designers to generate serviceable patterns using 3D printers. In 3D Printing, the fundamental materials used are Polylactic acid (PLA) and Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Analysis began by designing of ISO standard M16 bolt using solidworks. The bolt is then scrutinized for tangential stress and distortion. After analysis, it is found that the bolts made up of PLA are good in quality as compared to ABS while in context to accuracy, bolts made up of both PLA and ABS are in consistent with the actual standard size.
