Abstract

Objective To know the status quo of scientific research awareness and its practice among nursing staff, analyze the relevant factors, and explore how to cultivate their scientific research awareness and research abilities.Methods Self-designed questionnaires were used to investigate 200 clinical nurses and 200 nursing students in the school about their awareness and practice of nursing scientific research, and the results were analyzed comparatively.Results There was statistical difference on scientific research awareness and between nursing students and clinical nurses (P<0.05). The awareness of nursing research of nursing students was much stronger than that of clinical nurses, but the practice of nursing research of the clinical nurses was more than that of nursing students.Conclusions For school nursing students and clinical nurses, there are many differences between practice and scientific research and awareness. So various proposals were put forward to: nursing students in school should be provided more opportunities for participation in the provision of professional guidance to teachers, and should be given appropriate financial support.Clinical nursing staff should be increased not only the awareness of their research and research capacity but also the scientific research knowledge.
