Abstract
Objective To investigate the scientific research ability of clinical nurses with a bachelor or higher degree and to provide the basis and reference for hospital personnel selection and scientific research training.Methods Adopted a tailored questionnaire and the self-evaluation of nursing scientific research scale , we investigated 90 clinical nurses who met the criteria .Results The score of the self-evaluation of nursing scientific research scale of 90 participants was (56.02 ±20.57).Whether participate in the scientific research training or not (59.34 ±21.03 vs 50.56 ±18.83) and whether study the scientific research knowledge or not (59.20 ±18.85 vs 40.13 ±22.09) were the influencing factors (F=2.051, 3.475, respectively;P<0.05). Conclusions The leaders in hospital should focus on training and strengthening the literature retrieval and research ability.Meanwhile they should cultivate the nurses ’ scientific research consciousness to provide available personnel for the development of nursing science .
