Abstract

The article considers the motor activity of non-physical students in conventional and distance learning. The importance of the discipline “Physical Culture and Sport (Selective Discipline) is shown” in terms of the formation of physical culture of the individual, the ability to target the use of physical culture and sports in order to promote health. A comparative analysis of the weekly volume of motor activity of students, the duration of training sessions, shows the most popular types of independent physical education classes before the introduction of restrictive measures related to COVID-19 and during distance learning.
