Abstract

This study, centered around a survey of library directors (N = 83), examines community health programming (CHP) in Michigan’s public libraries within the broader context of national CHP initiatives. Reponses indicate that while physical activity classes and food skills programs are popular, there are still challenges to overcome. These findings led us to recommendations for cultivating partnerships that can help CHP grow and flourish.
