Abstract
ABSTRACT Researchers conducted an interview study in small and rural public libraries in four states to learn what health and wellness programs and services were offered, how they were implemented, what worked and did not work, and what challenges libraries faced in providing programs. The study additionally examined how libraries worked with community partners to develop programs and how successes were measured. Outcomes of the study include a model of community health ecosystems and the role of the public library.
