Abstract

In today's world where intercultural communication stands as a cornerstone determining the world peace, educating the international community about peace and maintaining an effective peace language on the intercultural platform should be one of the main communicational routes to achive. Peace education embracees a wide range of ideas ranging from creating a peace literature on which international community agrees to developing unique and innovative models for peace. Artistic productivity is one of the main topics for peace education. In this study titled “Communication Models and Sensitivity Approaches for Intercultural Peace Education”, peace education through the concept of sensitivity and the strong emphasis of art on peace education will be structured. Also communication efforts in educating the society through peace will be annotated through models and unique public relation activities. Techniques of molding a public opininon on Peace Education, civil society and media's role on educationg the society, reinforcing the education with initiatives by artists, international organizations and educational institutions captaincy for peace, peace literature education, emphasizing on democracy through peace education and a strong call for democracy to world public opininon are other important topics on this subject.
