Abstract

Objective To investigate the combination of evidence-based thinking with health education path in the transurethral resection (TURP).Methods The 120 patients,according to admission order,were randomly divided into two groups.60 patients in the control group received conventional health education;60 patients in observation group were under the guidance of the concept in accordance with evidence-based clinical pathways,Health education effect of patients was compared in the two group.Results Psychological anxiety index in perioperative period in observation group was (51.04 ±3.12),lower than those in the control group (58.94 ± 3.37 ),the difference was statistically significant ( Z =12.933,P < 0.05 ) ; Blood pressure and heart rate fluctuation is statistically significant difference ( P < 0.05 ) ; mastering relevant knowledge,skills,attitudes or behavior change were higher in the observation group than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant ( x2 =16.213,16.681,14.543,respectively; P < 0.05 ) ; satisfaction degree in the observation group was 98.3%,higher than those in the control group ( 81.7% ),the difference was statistically significant ( x2 =14.543,P <0.05 ) ; the day in hospital in the observation group was (9.71 ± 1.58 ) and average daily expenses was (2 863.71 ± 168.22),which were lower than those of the control group ( 14.34 ± 2.73,3 687.34 ± 254.83),the difference was statistically significant ( Z =11.376,20.894,respectively; P < 0.05 ).the nurse comprehensive ability was statistically different between the two group ( such as health education ability x2 =6.113,judge thinking ability x2 =7.10,P < 0.05).Conclusions The use of evidence-based thinking to carry out health education path for TURP patients can effectively reduce patient anxiety,improve patient compliance and satisfaction,reduce medical costs and shorten hospital stay Key words: Clinical health education path; Evidence-based thinking; Transurethral resection; Effect
