Abstract
Today, street art is an inseparable part of the urban landscape. This form of culture was built on the Graffiti current. Current that in the 80's wore the coat of an illegal act (vandalism). This phenomenon has exploded and can also be observed in the big cities in Romania. The artistic value of such cultural expressions is indisputable, but the same cannot be said about the legal treatment applied to them, which is why most artists choose to remain anonymous (Banksy). The wall is one of the favorite supports of this art form. Artists choose to create their works in the public space, on such supports, public or private, and which do not belong to them. Currently, street art does not benefit from proper regulation. Street art can be protected by copyright rules. It is worth noting to what extent these tangible forms fall within the rules and limits of copyright.
