Abstract
It is imperative for enterprise to transform the mode of management from the linear supply chain to the complex supply chain network. Recent advance in Cloud computing provides us with valuable opportunity to innovate the mode of SCM. This paper aims to discuss how to utilize the concept and method of cloud computing to promote the innovation of SCM to deal with the challenges of SCM in the increasingly complex business environment. Cloud computing is much more than simply a new set of technologies. From the perspective of business, Cloud computing reflects the methods of Servicelization, Virtualization, Dynamicalization and Intelligentization. As an innovation, Cloud of SCM tends to construct several capabilities of SCM including coordination, collaboration, innovation and management. This paper also provides a Layer framework of C-SCM to guide the deployment of Cloud computing in the field of SCM.
