Clinicopathological analysis of ovarian teratoma in 192 cases

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinicalpathological features of ovarian teratoma.Methods The clinical data of 192 patients with ovarian teratoma in Yancheng maternal and child health hospital were retrospectively analyzed.Results The age of patients ranged from 9 to 65 year old,and the age between 21 and 40 accounting for 75％,unilateral tumor accounting for 90.11％.One hundred and eighty-six cases of ovarian mature cystic teratoma,accounting for 96.88％ ; 2 cases of ovarian solid teratoma,accounting for 1.04％ ; 1 case of struma ovarian,accounting for 0.52％ ; 1 case of immature teratoma,accounting for 0.52％ ; 2 cases of teratoma with malignant transformation,accounting for 1.04％.Twenty cases with complications,accounting for 10.42％.Conclusions Most of ovarian teratoma is benign.Strengthening the gynecological examination,early detection and treatment can reduce the occurrence of complications and malignant transformation of teratoma.
