Abstract
Objective To study the methods and the value of the treatment with I125 particles implata-tion for patients with mid-late oesophagus cancinoma. Methods Binded the silicom rubber tube with I125 parti-cles on the surface of the oesophagus stents embattled according to the distrbution of the tumor organization Irra-dialization Stent binded with I125 was released into the oesophagus under fluoroscopy. Results 11 cases of the patients used a total of 224 I125 particles. After 3 months follow-up, there was no chang in blood or tracheo-esoph-ageal fistula occurred. Conclusion Self-expanding esophageal stents with I125 particles can obviously alleviate the symptoms of dysphagia, improve thepatients' life quality and survival time.
