Abstract

Objective To investigate the application effect of laparoscopic radical prostatectomy combined with psycho-psychological intervention in the treatment of localized prostate cancer. Methods The clinical data of 92 patients underwent laparoscopic radical prostatectomy from February 2015 to December 2017 in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed, and patients were divided into two groups according to different treatment method, each with 46 cases. The control group received laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, and based on this, the observation group received psycho-psychological intervention. Then the SAS, SDS, IPSS, QOL scores and intraoperative conditions and hospital stay before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, hospitalization time and intraoperative blood loss of the two groups showed no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment, SAS and SDS scores decreased in both groups (P<0.05), and the decreasing level was more significant in the observation group than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, IPSS and QOL scores decreased in both groups (P<0.05), and the decreasing level was more obvious in the observation group than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The laparoscopic radical prostatectomy combined with psycho-psychological intervention is an effective way to ameliorate the negative emotions and quality of life, and alleviate the urination symptoms. Key words: Prostatic Neoplasms; Laparoscopes; Psychotherapy
