Abstract

:Objective To evaluateclinical curative effect of debonding debridement trigonum submentale with needle-knife onvertebro-basilar artery insufficiency (VBI). Methods 131 cases of VBI sufferers wererandomly recruited into a control group (63 cases) and a treatment group (68 cases). Thetreatment group was treated by debonding debridement trigonum submentale withneedle-knife; while the control group was treated with puerarin intravenous injection.Observed the changes of clinical symptoms before and after the treatment and examinechanges of average of blood flowing speed in left vertebral artery, right vertebralartery, and basilar artery by TCD. Results The total effective rate was 89.71% and 85.71%in the treatment group and the control group respectively. Blood flowing speed of the leftvertebral artery, right vertebral artery,and basilar artery average showed remarkablechange (P<0.01) after the treatment in the treatment group,, whose effectswere better than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Debonding debridement trigonumsubmentale with needle-knife has remarkable curative effects on VBI.
