Abstract

Objective To improve the value of magnetic resonance angiography in the diagnosis of posterior circulation ischemic vertigo. Methods Retrospectively analyzed 72 cases of posterior circulation circular vertigo, who accepted the inspection and diagnosed. All of the patients underwent subtraction angiography (DSA) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) examination. The circulation differences of digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) in vascular abnormalities in patients with ischemic vertigo were analyzed, and the disease clinical value on nuclear magnetic resonance angiography angiography was evaluated. Results Seventy-two cases of posterior circulation ischemic vertigo by magnetic resonance angiography MRA examination show that, 22 cases of left vertebral artery stenosis, 10 cases with the left vertebral artery tortuosity, 6 cases of left vertebral artery origin variation; at the same time, right vertebral artery stenosis in 16 cases, 10 cases of posterior cerebral artery stenosis and tortuosity of the right vertebral artery, basilar artery stenosis in 4 cases.MRA examination vascular abnormality rate had no significant difference with DSA(P>0.05). Conclusions The circulation of ischemic vertigo patients who underwent a magnetic resonance angiography can not only shown the left and right vertebral artery and basilar artery pulse condition, and can accurately detect patients with vascular abnormalities, the detection rate with the digital subtraction angiography examination had no difference, it has high accuracy, reliable clinical diagnosis, and should be promoted.
