Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Kang-ai-zhu-she-ye combined with antibiotics in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in acute exacerbation stage in elderly patients.Methods 76 cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were randomly divided into two groups.Both of the two groups were given biotics,patients in the treatment group were treated by the combination of Kang-ai-zhu-she-ye and antibiotics. The APACHE Ⅱ scores,the dyspnea scores and clinical efficacy before and after treatment was compared in two groups.Results The APACHE Ⅱ scores,the dyspnea score,after treatment was impmved in comparison with those before treatment in two groups ( P ＜0.05).There were significant difference between two groups in The APACHE Ⅱ scores,the dyspnea score and clinical efficacy,which the treatment group were better than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Kang-ai-zhu-she-ye combined with antibiotics in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in acute exacerbation stage is effective.
