Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of estrogen and progesterone sequential combinated with motherwort granules on fetal residual after artificial abortion. Methods Ninety patients with incomplete abortion were selected and divided into the control group and observation group according to the treatment methods, with 45 cases in each group. Patients in observation group were treated with estrogen and progesterone sequential therapy combined with motherwort medicine, patients in control group underwent routine curettage surgery. Clinical effect on patients in the two groups were analyzed retrospectively. Results There was no statistical difference between the two groups in the total cure rate (P>0.05); the vaginal bleeding time and blood loss in observation group were better than those in control group, and the menstrual volume in observation group was higher than that in control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Estrogen and progesterone sequential therapy combined with motherwort medicine has significant effect on the treatment of fetal residual after artificial abortion, and it can effectively promote the excretion of residue, which is good for alleviating the pain of patients, and improving the quality of life of patients.
