Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effects of arthroscopic debridement combined with injection of sodium hyalumnate (SH) for knees osteoarthritis (OA).Methods From Jun.2001 to Jun.2011,588 cases of osteoarthritis of knees were analyzed,including 281 cases (control group) were used arthroscopic debridement alone and other 307 cases (experimental group) were used arthroscopic debridement combined with injection of sodium hyaluronate.Results The two groups were followed-up for 24 months:the excellent and good rate of the knee joint function was 90.5% in experimental group,but 78.3% in control group.According to the Lequesne index scores,the clinical effects of the experimental group was better than the control group with 24 months of follow-up,there was a significant difference (P < 0.05).Conclusion The arthroscopic debridement combined with injection of sodium hyaluronate (SH) for knees osteoarthritis (OA) can improve the operation effects and get more satisfactory results.
