Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of probucol combined with rosuvastatin calcium on serum lipid metabolism abnormality in patients with unstable angina pectoris. Methods One hundred and sixty patients with unstable angina pectoris were randomly divided into the control group(probucol group, 50 cases), statin group(50 cases) and the combined group(60 cases), which have been given medication for 3 months respectively. Blood lipid(TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C) were measured before and after treatment. Results The differences of blood lipid(TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C) levels before treatment in the three groups were not significant(P>0.05). After treatment, TC, TG, LDL-C levels in the patients of combined and statin group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05), combined group had lower TC, TG, LDL-C levels than rosuvastatin group, and TC, TG, LDL-C in both groups were lower than those in control group(P<0.05), the HDL-C levels were higher than those in control group(P<0.05). Adverse reactions in combined group with a little more, but there was no significant difference among the three groups. Conclusions Probucol combined with rosuvastatin calcium is effective and safe in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris with lipid metabolism abnormality. Key words: Unstable angina pectoris; Probucol; Rosuvastatin calcium; Lipid metabolism
