Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of linezolid injection combined with moxifloxacin injection in the treatment community acquired pneumonia. Methods Seventy elderly patients with community acquired pneumonia were randomly divided into trial group and control group, with 35 cases in each group. The patients in the trial group were given linezolid injection combined with moxifloxacin injection, while patients in the control group were given moxifloxacin injection only. After treatment, the clinical efficacy, bacterial clearance rate, High-sensitivity C-reactive(hs-CRP), white blood cells (WBC), neutrophils, platelets and the adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. The treatment cycle was 14 d. Results The total clinical effective rate was 94.3%in trial group and 77.2% in control group. The bacterial clearance rate in trial group and in control group were 88.9% and 69.2% respectively(P 0.05). Conclusions Linezolid injection combined with moxifloxacin injection in the treatment of community acquired pneumonia is effective and safe, and it is worthy of clinical application.
