Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of LEEP conization of cervix in the treatment of patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN).Methods One hundred and thirty-six patients with CIN were randorly divided into observation group(68 cases, given the LEEP conization of cervix) and control group (68 cases, given the cold-knife conization). The operation time,peri-operative bleeding, length of hospital stay, the bleeding during decrustation and healing time of incision were observed between the two groups. Results The operation time, length of hospital stay,peri-operative bleeding, the bleeding during decrustation and healing time of incision in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in the cure rate between the two groups (P > 0.06 ).Conclusions LEEP has the advantages of simple operation, shorter surgery and hospitalization time, less bleeding, quicker postoperative recovery and so on,it's worth clinical application. Key words: LEEP knife; Conization of cervix; Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia
