Abstract
The 'Reign of God' or the 'Kingdom of God' is an important concept in the Christian theology of religions. The 'Reign of God' was certainly at the centre of Jesus's teachings and actions. The first one concerns the relationship between the Kingdom of God and humanity, and the second the relationship between dialogue and mission. The Reign of God was instituted in the world and history through Jesus Christ, through his words and deeds, his death and resurrection. The Church's mission is to proclaim in word and sacrament that the Kingdom of God has come in Jesus Christ. The Church is called to be a dynamic force in humanity's journey towards the eschatological Kingdom. The concept of the Reign of God has important consequences for the Christian theology of religions and for inter-religious dialogue. Christians and non-Christians build the Reign of God by promoting religious and spiritual values. Keywords: Christian theology; church; interreligious dialogue; Jesus Christ; Jesus teachings; non-Christians; reign of God
