Abstract

The use of lobbying as one of the most important channels of influence on the decision-making process by the US government authorities in its classical form is "pressure of private and public organizations to Congress, the White House, ministries and departments to obtain approval or rejection of certain legislative or administrative acts". The problem of the activity of the Chinese lobby in the United States is especially relevant, given the growing role of China and USChina relations in world politics. The role of US-China relations is constantly growing. This is explained by the fact that the USA and China are undoubtedly the global leaders of the 21st century. China undoubtedly is becoming the new global leader in the 21st century. Discussion of the “China phenomenon” and of peaceful integration of the PRC to the current world order is one of the most important parts of the contemporary discussions on leadership. Nowadays we see the transition of China from the status of a relatively closed continental country to the status of one of the most powerful economies in the world that is trying to secure its marine communications. Though the PRC still does not have enough military capabilities, its military potential is growing and its interests in the future can be more and more significant. Some analysts even indicate that the character of the economic developments in China and the foreign policy strategy aimed to correct the rules of the world system and to form a huge zone of close cooperation of the PRC with a number of other actors can really change the whole system of regional and global relations.
