Abstract
The article discusses the possibility of using draft transcripts of regional party meetings as a historical source in the study of the post-war history of the USSR. For the fi rst time, archival primary sources introduced into scientifi c circulation refl ect the prevailing clan system in the political leadership of the Kirov region in the late 1940s and early 1950s.
