Abstract
The article analyses the results of an empirical study on the cognitive component of adolescents’ civic identity. The levels of development of the cognitive component of civic identity are highlighted, the analysis of the subjective assessment of young people’s knowledge about the Russian civic community is carried out. The authors analyse the presence of civic identity in the structure of the common identity of adolescents, and reveal the priority (place) of civic identity in the structure of adolescents’ common identity.
