Abstract

This chapter contains twelve symbols. These symbols are designed in a way that the first vowel of the symbol occurs in the beginning of the imperative as a sign of the imperative, and the last vowel of the symbol occurs in the beginning of the past form as a sign of the past. The symbol הבא consists of six conjugational patterns. The first conjugational pattern of הבא has two root letters preceded by heh. The heh is vocalised with a qamaṣ, which is found on the first letter of the symbol. They removed the heh and the qamaṣ from the passive participle fs and added the waw and taw. The twelve symbols contain fifty-eight conjugational patterns, including exceptional ones for which no other verbs of the same morphological pattern can be found. Keywords: heh; imperative; morphological pattern; passive participle; qamaṣ; taw; vowel; waw
