Abstract
In this chapter, nanofluid forced convection heat transfer under the effect of Lorentz forces has been presented. Control Volume-based Finite Element Method (CVFEM) is used to solve the governing equations in form of vorticity-stream function formulation. The calculations were performed for different governing parameters, namely the Reynolds number, nanoparticle volume fraction, and Hartmann number. Results show that the Nusselt number has a direct relationship with the Reynolds number and nanoparticle volume fraction while it has an inverse relationship with the Hartmann number.
