Abstract
A very important application of polymer/graphene nanocomposites is for membrane proficiency. Membrane technology is gaining interest for various industrial applications. The polymer/graphene nanocomposites have been employed in gas separation and water filtration membranes. This chapter highlights the promising areas of polymer/graphene-based membrane research in gas separation and water filtration. The versatility of polymer/graphene nanocomposites has hastened the membrane processes in the gas separation fields. In a similar way, polymer/graphene membranes have dominated the water treatment technology. Moreover, polymer/graphene nanofibers have brought about several innovations in the field of high-performance membranes. Novel membrane materials may overcome the challenging and harsh environments in gaseous or aqueous environment.
