Abstract
Research into community structure in complex networks has always been an issue of great concern in a number of fields. Community structure can reflect the dynamic characteristics and functions of complex networks. In recent years, endless community detection methods have emerged. The multiobjective evolutionary algorithm has the ability for self-adaptation, self-organization, and self-learning, and can solve complex problems which are difficult to solve using traditional computing methods. With the advent of effective network partition evaluation function, community detection problems can also be regarded as a kind of optimization problem. The multiobjective evolutionary algorithm has always played a very important role in the processing of optimization problems, therefore its application in community detection is also very extensive.
