Abstract

Community detection can help to discovery the community structures in the complex network, and has important theoretical significance and wide application prospects, so more and more attention has been paid to it. Community detection is divided into non-overlapping community detection and overlapping community detection, and community structures in realistic complex networks are usually overlapping, so overlapping community detection is more realistic. At present, the overlapping community detection algorithm based on multi-label propagation has near-linear time complexity, which is widely used and deeply studied in community detection. In this paper, the overlapping community detection algorithm based on multi-label propagation is studied from various aspects, and the improvement is analyzed in detail.
