Abstract
This section provides the reader a basic understanding of the fundamentals and the operating relationship between the plant equipment in a diesel power plant and covers the craft labor for the assembly and field erection required to put the equipment into operation in a diesel power plant. The section includes the installation of the engines, pipe modules, selective catalytic reduction unit, cooling system, lube oil system, and valves. The purpose of this section is to provide a comprehensive and accurate method for compiling equipment direct craft labor man-hour estimates for equipment to be installed in a diesel power plant.
