Chapter 7 - Death by a Thousand Cuts

Abstract

Knuth was a formidable opponent. He was ultra-paranoid and careful. He had not allowed his pursuers the luxury of traditional “smoking gun” evidence. Knuth's legacy would not suffer a single deadly blow—if it was to end, it would be through a death by thousand tiny cuts. It seemed illogical, but it was supposed to be happened. Knuth had built himself a very nice Faraday cage, and all it housed was a small collection of computer equipment. He was not a day trader, he was not a technology mogul, and he was not some sort of SPAM king. He was not technical in nature, but was using his computer to commit a crime.
