Abstract

The function of roof-bending deflection with mixed boundary conditions in the mined-out areas under a uniform load was derived and the analytical solution was worked out. The distribution and variation of stress and deformation of the roof, with thickness-span ratio and vibration frequency variation in the mined-out regions, were analyzed under dynamic loading. The motion equation that demonstrated the bending deformation of the stratified rock roof had been derived, and the nonlinear response characteristics of the motion equation had been analyzed. The pressure-arch in the integrated and horizontal stratified rock in the mining field was analyzed, respectively. The accumulated damage effect of the roof in the mined-out areas was analyzed under the repeated blasting vibrations and the hazardous assessment on the highway with bridges and tunnels over the mined-up regions were evaluated based on the practical project.
