Abstract

Organic agriculture is the holistic approach to sustainable healthy food production with better environmental protection. Organic and natural ecosystems conserve natural resources such as improving soil health, rectifying micronutrient deficiency, stabilizing the productivity of crops, healthy food, and reducing the level of toxic residue in food, soil, and water bodies. Food industries have a major role to meet the requirement for healthy organic food for the increasing population. Awareness of acceptability in the coming new generation has been increased by digitization, e-commerce, and the use of information technologies. Recent advances in modern technologies in agriculture may be utilized for the safe production of organic food as per the requirement of consumers. Industry, whether reconciled and harmonized with organic production systems, may provide the facility to enhance the outcome and provide employment to a large number of people through the creation of a value chain along with satisfying the global needs for healthy organic food with conserving soil health with environmental protection.
