Abstract

This chapter describes systems for harvesting, preserving, handling, and storing corn. Relationships among system components are discussed, along with history, recent developments, and trends for the future. Although corn production is global, the systems described are most indicative of practices used in the United States and other areas where production is highly mechanized.
