Abstract
Cosmetic eyelid blepharoplasty is one of the most requested cosmetic facial surgery procedures and one of the most effective in rejuvenation. For most surgeons, this is a very rewarding and fun surgical procedure. However, the eyes are a very complex structure, and a lot goes into proper diagnosis, treatment planning, surgery, and postoperative care. Severe complications, including loss of vision, are rare but can be devastating. This chapter covers the diagnosis, preoperative evaluation, intraoperative surgical techniques, postoperative care, and complications of cosmetic blepharoplasty.
