Abstract
The development of photoelectrochemical (PEC) bioanalysis has resulted in significant advancement in its analytical presentation and biorecognition applications. The future scenarios in this zone are also assessed. PEC DNA sensors could record a biological happening and change it into a computable signal with detailed biosensing elements and transducers. A DNA biosensor is an object that accommodates the probe DNA as a bioidentification element and an electrode as a photocurrent generator. Different PEC biosensors have been developed for DNA analysis according to the requirements of the recognition or target molecules. This study will assist as a valuable source to apprise interested spectators of the modern advances and request in the field of PEC DNA analysis. It provided decent specificity, reproducibility, and constancy and is a favorable approach for the recognition of a diversity of DNA marks and for early experimental analysis of several diseases.
